I know this is the out of blue, but have you ever submitted photo contests?

I didn’t have a chance to try it before, but a big event called “The 49th Canon Photo Contest” started from early this month. I’m a little attracted this time…by its prize and prize money.

What!! 500,000yen!?

I was about to shout unconsciously. The prize money is very attractive, but actually I want EOS 5D more.

I’ve been a APS-C user and I never felt I would be able to buy full-frame camera. I sometimes wondered, “Is there any chances to find full-frame cameras somewhere on a street?” I recently started to believe that full-frame camera might be a mirage. OK, it explains why it never came to my hand.

Then, I found the announcement about this photo contest and prize!

A huge number of entries will be expected for this big event by Canon, so it must be like winning a lottery. Before talking about that, do I have photos which are good enough for photo contest?

After all, it must be a mirage…
